The Gift of Writing

According to author Amy Tan, writing is a privilege and a gift. It's a gift to yourself and it's a gift of giving a story to someone. This semester we will be engaged in gift giving as you tell the stories of people in the Brockport community. This class will likely push you beyond your comfort zones, bend your view of writing, and stretch your creative minds. I look forward to working with all of you and the gifts you will give.
